Ferrari team principal Frederic Vasseur tried to downplay any friction, explaining the communication protocols and noting that Hamilton was not upset after the race. The peculiar radio exchange post-race, where Hamilton asked if his engineer was upset with him, highlighted the challenges of communication in such high-pressure situations, even though it was generic and normal in F1.
